Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ¾ cup warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh herbs (parsley, oregano, or thyme), chopped
Topping
- 3 tbsp Mama Kicks Chimichurri Sauce
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- ½ cup mozzarella or feta
- Handful arugula (optional)
Method:
- Make the dough: Combine flour, baking powder, salt, water, oil, and herbs. Knead 2–3 min until smooth. Rest 10–15 min.
- Cook the bread: Divide into 4, roll out thin, and cook in a hot skillet 1–2 min per side until golden spots form. Keep warm.
- Assemble: Preheat oven to 400°F. Spread Chimichurri Sauce, then add mushrooms + cheese.
- Bake: 8–10 min until edges crisp and cheese melts.
- Finish: Garnish with arugula or an extra drizzle of chimichurri.
