Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef or turkey
1 onion, diced
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 carrots, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz)
1 can kidney beans (14 oz), drained & rinsed
2 tbsp Mama Kicks Gochujang Sauce
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 cups beef or veggie broth
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
Method:
Brown the meat: Cook meat in a large pot until no pink remains (7–8 min). Drain fat if needed.
Sweat aromatics: Add onion, garlic, pepper, and carrots. Cook 5–6 min until softened.
Bloom flavors: Stir in tomato paste + Gochujang Sauce. Cook 1–2 min to deepen flavor.
Build body: Add tomatoes, beans, broth, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to boil, then reduce heat.
Simmer: Cook 30–40 min, stirring occasionally, until thick. Add broth if too thick, or extra gochujang for heat.
Serve: With cheddar, sour cream, scallions, or avocado.
